Terms & Conditions of Memberships at TechShop Abu Dhabi

  • All types of memberships* must be activated within one month from the date of purchase. In the case that an activation date was not specified by the member within the one-month period, the membership will automatically be activated one month from the date of purchase.

  • Memberships are activated when you first enter the shop, whether to participate in a class or to stay in the shop for longer than 30 minutes.

  • Memberships cannot be paused, divided, transferred or refunded after purchase.

  • Members awarded with a Refer a Friend membership must have their membership activated on the same day or a day after their existing membership ends.
  • For safety reasons, some classes and equipment have age restrictions and some equipment require successful completion of a Safety and Basic Use (SBU) class prior to independent use during membership.
  • For equipment reservations, you will need to activate your membership at Front Desk before you can request a reservation. 
  • If a membership offer includes Class Coupons, note that Class Coupon codes are for specified classes only. Coupon codes are transferable and may be shared with friends and family**. Class Coupon codes may NOT be applied as partial payment to classes that are not on the respective Class Coupon Category lists (special circumstances might apply).
  • Memberships and Class Coupon are valid only at TechShop Abu Dhabi.
  • TechShop reserves the right to change prices, offers, and fees at any time. Notification of changes are sent to members via newsletters or displayed on the website. Please visit our website regularly to stay up to date with our prices and offers.

*This applies to all types of memberships - daily, monthly and annual - in the price categories UAE, Non-UAE, Student & Ladies, Military as well as Familiy Add-on.

**Exceptions in offers might apply for class coupons.
